This web site, besides giving you information about our practice, will provide a means for you and us to exchange information electronically, plus provide you with or lead you to reliable health information. The site is still under construction so that many features, especially the electronic forms, are not yet available. We thank you for your patience while we get these features constructed. Some of the pages contain pictures or graphics, most of which are not essential to the content of the page, so if our pages are loading very slowly, feel free to turn off pictures or graphics in your web browser.
We specialize in Family Practice, providers that specialize in YOU! We are conveniently located in the former CHP Medical Building on Main Street in Bennington, Vermont.
We have been proud to provide services to you over the last few years as members of one of the nation's highest quality health maintenance organizations, Kaiser Permanente. Although Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (the insurance arm of Kaiser Permanente) has left the Northeast, as of the end of 1999, we physicians are staying as a new private practice group!
We are looking forward to the future to provide health care under a new independent model that will continue to provide some of the highest quality care to keep you, our patients, healthy. As we have transitioned into the year 2000, we have become members of a new private, independent partnership called
that spans Vermont and northeastern New York, dedicated to providing high quality comprehensive health care with good outcomes at an affordable price. We are also partnered with Physician Services of Vermont (PSVT), an organization to help member physicians in Vermont provide affordable services.
Be sure to check our ANNOUNCEMENTS page for any recent alerts, announcements or news items of importance. When our electronic forms for registration, insurance referrals, prescription renewals and feedback become available, we will post an announcement on that page.

Together with our sister office in Hoosick Falls, Village Primary Care, we're open seven days and four evenings a week. That's more than any other practice in the Bennington-Hoosick Falls area! No more waiting for hours in overcrowded emergency rooms for those "urgent" but not "emergent" medical problems being taken care of by an unknown physician or physician assistant who is there for you only until his/her shift ends. And there is ALWAYS a physician on call available for you whenever both offices are closed. We even make housecalls on our patients who are bed-bound.
**The Village Primary Care office in Hoosick Falls is open 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday evenings to see our patients with urgent problems.
*(Includes New Years, Memorial, Independence and Labor Days, but not Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day when the office will be closed, but there will still be a physician on call.)

Scientific and medical knowledge are expanding at an unprecedented rate, and is becoming increasingly difficult for everyone to keep up with. We try to have easy-to-read literature in our office to keep you well informed about you and your family's health, but it is impossible for us to always have all the up-to-date information on hand that you need. Periodically check our ANNOUNCEMENTS page for news bulletins on recent developments in health care. Also check out our data base of Patient Handouts which you can print out at home. These are courtesy of familydoctor.org and American Family Physician, the medical journal of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). Also available are Self-Care Flowcharts, to provide you with easy-to-follow advice on when to consult your family health care provider. from the AAFP Family Health and Medical Guide. Check out our DRUG INFORMATION page for links to information for patients on prescription and over-the-counter drugs, supplements, and herbals. When you come across confusing medical terms, check out their meaning in the Patient Medical Dictionary on the FamilyPractice.com web site.
The Internet is a new and evolving source of up-to-date information. Our NET-INFO page will help you find some good, reliable information on the World Wide Web.
We periodically offer special events and classes in our office on various topics that you are welcome to attend. Check our office EVENTS page perodically for upcoming events.
