Therese Dranginis, MD

Therese Dranginis earned her BS in Biology from St. Francis College in Loretto, PA, and her MD degree from the University of Penn State Medical School in Hershey, PA. After completing a residency in Family Practice at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME, she served five years in the Indian Health Service Corps in Tuba City, AZ. She then moved to Bennington in 1990 when she came to work for Community Health Plan, transitioned into Physician Manager at this location for Kaiser Permanente, and is happy to continue to provide comprehensive family practice services as part of the Mt. Anthony Health Care Team at this same site. She is board-certified in Family Medicine, and is licensed in the states of Vermont, New York and Maine.

Gregory King, MD

Physician Manager

Dr King received his bachelors degree from Cornell University. After working as a Peace Corps Volunteer for two years in Ethiopia, Dr King attended medical school at the State University of New York at Buffalo where he received his M.D. degree. He then completed an internship and residency in family practice at Saint Vincent Health System in Erie, Pennsylvania, became board certified in the specialty of Family Practice, and has been recertified every six years since then. After three years as a solo doctor in private practice in Port Byron, New York, Dr King came to Bennington in 1986 to work for Community Health Plan, which later became part of Kaiser Permanente. He is licensed to practice medicine in Vermont, New York and Pennsylvania.

Paul Stanchfield, PA

Mr. Stanchfield is a physician assistant and the newest member of our team. He will be starting work in mid-August 2002. A photograph and more details will follow soon.

Emily Rice, PA-C

Ms. Rice is a Bennington native and received her a Bachelor Science degree in Medical Biology from University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. While attending University of New England, she worked as licensed nursing assistant at Centers for Living and Rehabilitation (then Weston-Hadden Convalescent Center); and also as a medical assistant in a private physician's office. She then attended Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania where she received her Bachelor of Science degree for Physician Assistant. She's made the Dean's List, is a member of the National Biological Honors Society, and has received an Outstanding Service Award. Unfortunately, Ms. Rice will be leaving us for another job in August 2002. We have all enjoyed working with her and wish her well.

So that we providers can concentrate on delivering high quality health care to you, we employ some of the best people to help the office run smoothly.   Our staff wants you to feel comfortable and secure in our office, and we want to know if you are having any problems with our office systems or staff.

Bonnie Krawczyk-Tripp

Bonnie has been working with us for over 10 years, since we were part of CHP, and has been the head of our medical records department for the last several years. She is available to you to receive comments and suggestions and help resolve any problems you may have with our office. We want to hear from you as part of our efforts to make our office meet your needs as much as possible.
